Two years ago this week, I was in the shower on a Sunday morning and the following short drama transpired:
Son (11 years old): *knocks on bathroom door*
Me: Yes?
Son: There are four pancakes in the fridge with your name on them!
Me: Thank you, buddy!
Son: Three out of the four are burned!
Me: OK!
Son: But they’re STILL FOOD!
End scene
